Lamborghini’s specialist motorsports division Squadra Corse have created their first one-off bespoke track-oriented car based off the flagship V12 Lamborghini Aventador SVJ, and my is it a beast.

With garnered aerodynamics experience from the Lamborghini Super Trofeo and GT3 racing, the unique road approved Lamborghini SC18 has been designed in conjunction with the customer and Centro Stile Lamborghini primarily for use on the track and opens up new opportunities for further personalised development projects for motorsport customers under the Squadra Corse brand.

Quite possibly the most stunning, outrageously styled and unfiltered Lamborghini to date, the model features extreme bespoke aerodynamics with racing elements starting from the front hood with air intakes in the style of the Huracán GT3 EVO; the sides and rear feature fenders, fins and airscoops inspired by the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO. The aerodynamic system is completed by a large carbon fiber wing with three mechanical adjustments, able to generate the optimal downforce on any circuit. In addition, the twelve air intakes formed on the rear hood increase heat exchange and improve the cooling of the V12 engine, a solution tested successfully in endurance races.

Undoubtedly true racing prowess, the Lamborghini SC18 has a naturally aspirated V12 engine producing a staggering 770 hp at 8,500 rpm, sending 720 Nm at 6,750 rpm of torque to the wheels all driven by the ISR (Independent Shifting Rod) optimised seven-speed gearbox.

The huge power is combined with reduced weight achieved with the use of ultralight materials including the new carbon fiber body which presented in Grigio Daytona (grey) and shows visible detailing and red screen-printing to enhance its sportiness. With a mere 109 mm ground clearance, the rear is characterised by the distinctly sounding triangular exhausts and uniquely design terminals.

The cockpit features interiors in Nero Ade (black) Alcantara with cross-stitching in Rosso Alala (red), and carbon fiber bucket seats. The look is completed by the single centre nut wheels, 20” on the front and 21” on the rear, with specially developed Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and a telemetry system to measure all aspects of performance on the track.
